Illustrations for Chicago Marathon Weekend
The Chicago Marathon is held every October in Chicago, Illinois. One of the six World Marathon Majors, a World Athletics Label Road Race, The Chicago Marathon is the fourth-largest race by number of finishers worldwide, this marathon is a fixture of the city.
Heartbreak Running Co. has been a cornerstone of the running community in Chicago, and the marathon, for some time. Not only is Marathon Sunday celebrated, but the entire weekend is filled with festivities, for runners and fans alike.
In 2022, in collaboration with Nike, New Gen, and Heartbreak Running, I had the honor of being a part of the Saturday celebration hosted by Heartbreak Running Co. A day filled with group runs, games, food, and meeting professional runners, my illustrations of the athletes and prominent figures in the running community were subject of the advertising material.
