Logotype and illustration for Citius Mag.

Founded in 2016 by Chris Chavez while writing and editing full-time for Sports Illustrated, Citius Mag is a track and field media outlet on a mission to modernize the coverage of the sport. Citius aims to give fans a way to engage with the sport by highlighting athletes and their stories through content across social, video, podcasts, articles, and newsletters.

Chris Chavez, coined the term “legs are feelin’ good” on his instagram, while training for a race. Inspired by this, and with my love of typography, I took to my iPad to illustrate this catchphrase.

In addition to creating merchandise with my illustrations, Citius published my illustration of Eliud Kipchoge, alongside an article written by Stephen Kersh, when he made history for setting the world record in the marathon, with a time of 2:01:39, in 2018.
